Welcome Centre
The Welcome Centre is the place international academics, researchers, scientists and other university-related professionals can go to seek support and advice during their stay at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB).
We offer services to international researchers who are planning a research period at RUB, and also to their hosts and faculties at the university.
We are looking forward to assisting your preparation for your trip and supporting you during your stay. We will provide you with information on specific topics relevant to your visit to Bochum, ranging from residence and work formalities, to useful tips to help you feel at home.
Registration
All international researchers who come to RUB should register with the Researchers' Database as soon as possible (ideally prior to their arrival in Bochum). Once you have registered online, you and your accompanying family members can personally take advantage of the services and information that the Welcome Centre provides for RUB international guest researchers.
