PROFIN project: Preparation for interships in Germany
Within the framework of the DAAD "PROFIN" programme (a programme offered by the German Academic Exchange Service to support the integration of international students), RUBiss has realized a project in cooperation with the Careers Service and Centre for German as a Foreign Language to prepare foreign students for internships in Germany.
Which documents do I need for my application? How should I write the covering letter and CV? What is important in a job interview? What is expected from an intern? How can cultural differences be dealt with?
These are only a few questions that may come up before starting or even during an internship. RUBiss and the Careers Service organise workshops with experts on a regular basis to prepare international students for the search for an internship and the application procedures.
In the workshops the experts will:
answer FAQs / check application documents / conduct interview training
and guide you through other useful practical exercises.
Participation is free of charge. However, advanced German skills are required!
