ConRuhr offices of the UAMR
Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) has fully-staffed offices in New York, Moscow and Rio de Janeiro / São Paulo which support its active global partnerships. These offices were set up by the University Alliance Metropolis Ruhr (UAMR) and they assist RUB's collaboration with colleagues at the Technical University of Dortmund and the University of Duisburg-Essen. Consortium Ruhr (ConRuhr) combines the strengths of the 3 universities and over 80,000 students.

The ConRuhr office in New York is located in the centre of Manhattan. It strengthens networks between the three allied universities and carries out extensive alumni work.
ConRuhr office in Moscow
The ConRuhr office in Moscow resides under the umbrella of the Russian-German Institute of the Moscow State University of Railway Engineering. Its mission is to make the Ruhr region well-known to Russia as being an important area for research and education.
ConRuhr office in Rio de Janeiro / São Paulo
The ConRuhr office is located at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Rio de Janeiro and in the German House of Science and Innovation in São Paulo. It is also active in the main Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.
