Internationalisation Workgroup
The Internationalisation Workgroup has been active at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) since the Summer Semester 2010.
The workgroup advises the Rector on matters of internationalisation, and it is contributing to the further development and improvement of the international campus.
Its members are from different administrative and scientific status groups, and they discuss activities and different perspectives on the topic of internationalisation.
Topics
The Internationalisation Workgroup is involved in different aspects of internationalisation, and topics such as marketing and communication or intercultural competencies are given priority at the moment. The workgroup is developing concepts to improve RUB's international image and it is designing projects to increase interculturalism on campus.
Optional Modules
The Internationalisation Workgroup is working with the staff responsible for the optional modules at bachelor's degree programme level to develop new modules and an overall concept to enhance and strengthen their internationality and interculturality.
