How to get here
Here you will find travel information and recommendations for long-distance travellers, those travelling by train and those travelling by car.
Directions to the building SH
By public transport: You can reach this from the U-35 metro station "Ruhr Universität" via the pedestrian bridge towards the university (heading towards the right). Walk past the Fine Arts Centre (MZ) (first building on the right-hand side if coming from the metro station). Turn right directly after the MZ building and enter the “Studierendenhaus” (Students' Union, SH) via the entrance next to the “Kulturcafé”. The International Office is located on the first floor.
By car: Take the turnoff named “Uni Mitte” and exit the “Universitätsstraße” (directions can be found under Street Map (pdf-file, 120 KB, German). Park your car in the visitors’ car park. Keep to the left when entering the car park and turn left after the information point. Once you have parked your car, exit the car park via the stairs leading to the pedestrian bridge and follow the instructions as stated above.
