Application for a Bachelor's or Master's degree
The online application for the winter semester 2013/14 has not started yet.
You may apply for a place to study at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) as beginning of June until 15th July 2013.

As soon as the online application has started please fill in the required information and choose the field of studies. After having completed the application, you will receive a confirmation- Email and a fact sheet with your application number. Please print this sheet and send it – together with the stated testimonies and language certificates - until the end of application period to the international Admission Office.
Afterwards you can check your application status in the information portal. At the end of the admission process the admission notifications will be provided here as download:
Application for German language courses
If you do not fulfill the requiered language proficiency, you may apply for the german language preparation courses at RUB. Please send your application
to the Admission Office of Ruhr-Universität.
Applications can be submitted until 15 July 2013.

A board has been established at the German Embassy to determine the equivalence of entrance qualifications for applicants from the People's Republic of China, Mongolia and Vietnam. RUB only accepts applications if they are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Please visit the following websites for further information:
